This Dry Rosé is a tribute to the Simi family’s matriarch, Isabelle, who had a passion for growing roses. The color is lit from within, a vibrant shell pink with a gentle lean to coral. On the nose, find ripe strawberry, tart cherry, rhubarb, subtle sweet herb, zesty citrus, and a hint of mineral. These enticing aromas set the stage for the palate of fresh strawberry and pineapple with sweet herbs, stone fruit, and a lingering tart cherry. This Rosé is forward and focused with a balanced acidity, nice structure, and lengthy finish.
42% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Malbec, 4% Syrah, 3% Tempranillo, 1% Graciano
We recommend enjoying this refreshing, versatile wine as an aperitif or paired with a fresh spinach salad with strawberries and feta or a goat cheese and summer vegetable pizza.
Mostly sourced from Alexander Valley (39%) and Dry Creek Valley (34%), our Dry Rosé primarily comes from our estate vineyards. Sourced from classic, valley floor vineyards possessing sandy loam soils that are ideal for growing Bordeaux varietals. The varied soil types in these vineyards produce different flavor profiles among the vines and the wines that express the best characteristics of Alexander Valley known for velvety texture and Dry Creek Valley for bright, luscious flavors.
