Founded in 1876, SIMI Winery is one of California’s oldest continuously operating wineries, built on a tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and innovation. The winery’s enduring legacy was shaped by Isabelle Simi, who took the reins at just 18 years old and guided the family business for more than seven decades with remarkable vision and determination.

Inspired by Isabelle’s pioneering spirit, SIMI continues to craft wines that celebrate California’s finest vineyards while honoring nearly 150 years of winemaking excellence. Every bottle reflects a commitment to quality, authenticity, and the belief that great wines are created through passion, perseverance, and respect for the land.

Wine Maker

John Parducci

John Parducci (January 22, 1918 – February 4, 2014) was a pioneering Mendocino County winemaker whose career spanned over 80 years. As a 14‑year‑old during Prohibition, he sold his family’s grapes by rail to home winemakers. He became head winemaker at Parducci Wine Cellars in 1940, the first to bottle varietal wines and to showcase Anderson Valley labels. A champion of affordable quality, he judged California events for three decades and was inducted into the Culinary Institute of America’s Vintner Hall of Fame in 2012.
